Title: Extra & the Terrestials Author(s): 3D Design, Don Mousseau Software: Illustrator 7.0, Infini-D 4.5, Poser 2.0, RayDream5, Photoshop 4.0 Description: Created for my Personal Portfolio. This was a huge project. The image contains over 750 objects, 150 textures and 22 lights! It took 5 weeks to create (late nights of course!). Like the previous Alien pic, the aliens were started in Poser. I wanted to create unique looking characters so I scetched a few ideas then made each of the face bumps in Photoshop (PS). I created each component of the scene seperately, ie., characters, guitars, amp, drums, etc. Then merged the files to compose the scene. The final render at 3200x2200 ppi took 8 hours. Other notes: This image wasMetaCreations "Image of the Day" for August 11, 1998 and was first place in MetaCreations "Beyond the Canvas" Digital Art Competition '98 in the 3D Commercial Art category.
